Saturday Crafterdays!

Come spend an hour on a Saturday at RPL and learn how to make a simple gift. No experience is necessary–you’ll be guided expertly through all the steps of creation. RPL will provide supplies. So nice you can give them away, but you may not want to–we won’t tell if you keep them for yourself!
On October 26, join local artist Lauren Scogin for a workshop on making a birch ornament, with paints and stencils. This could be a holiday item, or just a lovely piece of art to grace your own home! 10-11 am.
November 2 brings the wonderful Natalie Cassidy to the library to show you how to make a simple, beautiful embroidery piece. We’ll provide all supplies, including a little hanky to embroider; you are welcome to bring your own item to embroider as well. You can create your own design or use one of the available templates. Some supplies will be available to take home to finish your project, if needed. 10-11 am.
On November 16 at 1 pm, Maya will show you how to make sweet little felted acorn earrings! All supplies will be provided for this easy-to-learn, quick craft. All ages welcome, but please be aware that felting needles are SHARP. This may not be the right craft for little fingers. 1-2 pm.
