Kids and Families, make sure you pencil in RPL’s STEAM-y Summer, starting up in June! During June, we’ll celebrate and explore chemistry; July will take us into DINOSAURS, and we’ll be getting physical with physics in August! All this means potions, explosions, DINOMAN, dino eggs, TWO visits from the Montshire Museum of Science, and maybe a visit to the river. There are also family-friendly stargazing nights with telescopes!
This summer will also see Stories in the Park, The Return of the Dumbledorks, musical games with Sue R., and an all-ages storytime at the library. Yippee for summer!
Rochester Library has just received a grant from the VT Space Grant Consortium, a NASA initiative to provide more STEAM programs in libraries. This money will be used to support our awesome STEAM-y Summer fun! Many thanks to the VT Space Grant Consortium and the VT Department of Libraries!
