On August 4, we hope to see you for Professor John Charlton’s talk, “Andrew Burnham, the 7th British Prime Minister in a Decade: Now What?”.
John Charlton is a British historian and a visiting fellow in history at the University of Newcastle. He is a graduate of York and Leeds universities and has lectured in History and Politics at Leeds Polytechnic and Leeds University. He is closely involved in the North East Labour History Society and has been Secretary and Editor of the Society’s journal, North East History.
He and his wife, Sally, have been summer visitors to Rochester for many years.
