For kids this week at RPL

Come to Rochester Library for some great dino activites and books for Dinosaur Month!
You can craft a fossil from cardboard tubes or pasta. Or maybe you’d rather make your very own Dino-Stompers! You can play “Find the Dino”, tell some very awesome dino jokes, play with dinos in Play-dough, or draw your favorite dino. Maybe you can invent your own dino! This week, we will be painting a dino skeleton–come help out! There’s at least one bone for everyone!
And–even though she’s NOT a dinosaur–the incredibly talented Sue Ribaudo will be here for some Family Singing Games! On Tuesday the 8th at 3, join Sue to learn some fun, easy musical games that everyone can do. Music is a beautiful way to help your child’s brain grow (and your own!), soothe your spirit, and bring beauty to the world. Plus, no screens required! Sue will be back on the 15th for some singing games from other countries.
On Thursday, regular kids’ programming includes Family Storytime at 3:30, followed by The Dumbledorks, our super-fun, totally magical Harry Potter group! We’ll do a sweet HP project and read some of the story. At 5:30, all are welcome to sit in for a screening of one of a series of very popular wizard movies!
DON’T FORGET ABOUT DINOMAN ON FRIDAY!!! That’s Friday at 3:30! See RPL’s post about the event for all the details!
