VINS is coming to the library! On March 7, please join us at Rochester Library for a free program about Super-Powered Critters! Learn about adaptations of different animals which allow them to be truly amazing! There will be 3 LIVE animals, including a bird and a reptile! I wonder which ones they’ll bring…..we’ll have to be here on the 7th to find out! Free program for all ages. March 7 at 10 AM.
Scavenger hunts are ready to go! Come enjoy some time in the library while you have fun searching for different items on a list. Oh, yes, of course there are prizes! You have your choice of a lovely beaded bookmark made by the wonderfully clever Manzanita Carpenter or a sweet treat! All ages; through the end of March.
Come read with a dog! Shelby, that funny, fuzzy girl, will be here on March 14 with her person, Joanne. Read a story or listen to one, and plan on some snuggle time! 10 AM.
An early heads-up for spring-loving families: RPL will host a 1st Day of Spring event! Come in on Friday, March 20 for nest building, making seed paper, kite making, and lots and LOTS of fake flowers–-make a crown! Or a garland! Or anything at all! March 20, 5 – 7 PM.
We have some leftover seeds from Saturday’s seed giveaway, so be sure to stop in and grab some (more)!
