Magic: The Gathering, is now happening right here at Rochester Public Library!  Join experienced players for a great game, or learn how to play.  Don’t have a deck?  Not a problem–we’ve got decks you can use.  If you like wizards and dragons and such, this is the place and time to geek out on all of that.  Tuesdays in September:  the 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd, and 30th from 4-8; drop in when you can, cast a spell, stay as long as you like.  The group will continue to meet if interest is there!  All ages!

Our annual craft supply swap is coming up in October.  Bring your unwanted, unused, but in good fettle craft supplies to the library anytime we’re open (don’t leave ‘em on the porch, please!).   Please, no books of any kind, and if you bring a kit, make sure it’s complete!  We’ll get everything sorted and set up and throw open the doors in October.  Whoopee!

Other regular library programs continue this week:

*The Purls of Wisdom, our outrageously welcoming and fun crafting group.  Bring any craft, story, or craft-related tidbits and we’ll happily swap tales and tips with you!  Every Tuesday at 1:30.

*The DumbleDorks, our Harry Potter book/movie/cool projects club, meets on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of each month, at 4:30.

*After the DumbleDorks, grab some of our free snacks and head upstairs for a free screening of a famous wizard movie! That’s at 5:30,  on the second and fourth Thursdays of each month.

*Family Storytime, for all ages, happens every Thursday at 3:30.

Stories in the Park will meet on Friday at 3:30 during Rochester’s fabulous Farmers’ Market.  Who knows what we’ll get up to???  Guaranteed to be messy, creative fun for all kiddos.

The Writers’ Workshop with Ms Amy B will veer slightly from its usual schedule to meet on Saturday the 27th.  Come hone your skills with other local authorial types, upstairs, at 1 pm.

Thank you for your support!  See you at the library!
