The Rochester Public Library is excited to share the news that we are one of six Vermont public libraries selected to receive book sets of winning titles from the most recent Vermont Book Awards.
The Award is an annual prize honoring work of outstanding literary merit by Vermont authors, a partnership effort of the Department of Libraries and Vermont Humanities. Winners are chosen by a panel of judges made up of Vermont writers, teachers, librarians, and passionate supporters of literature.
Our new book set features Mary Ruefle’s The Book (Creative Nonfiction), Sandra Simonds’ Assia (Fiction), Vievee Francis’ The Shared World (Poetry), and Dan Nott’s Hidden Systems (Children’s Literature).
