Coming up in February, we’ll have an author talk with the magical and very-knowlegeable Jane English of Calais. My family has a long association with Jane, stretching back to my children’s days at EarthWalk, where Jane was an elder, guiding children in outdoor adventures, skills, stories, and song. She has now published a book, White Pines: A Woman’s Lifelong Friendship with These Trees. Jane’s book is filled with her breath-taking photography of, and many stories and much information about, these beautiful trees.
