Time for Summer Reading!

The moment you’ve been waiting for….
Rochester Library’s Summer Reading for Kids Kick-off Party!

Join us in front of the library on Saturday, June 27 for some fun and games!

There will be live music from Granville Daze, face painting with the Amazing Natalie, DIY T-shirts (you can read in them!), treats of all sorts, Reading Buddies to take home, snacks and lemonade, AND you’ll get your own reading log for recording your goals and keeping track!

During the months of July and August, you’ll keep track of your reading in your reading log. When you meet a goal, stop in for a celebratory gift! At the end of the summer, if you’ve met your goals and/or feel good about what you’ve read and/or want to, you can SUPER celebrate with some cool options: After-hours library tea with Maya and your choice of guest! Choose a Yoto story card to add to the library’s collection! And even more cool stuff…..

Just stop by on Saturday between 12 and 2 to get signed up. If you can’t make it on Saturday, come to the library anytime to join in!

This is for ALL ages–there is no one who is too young for books!
