Mission

Friends of the Library is a volunteer community group organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes to support the mission of the library.

We are a group of people interested in books, library services, and our community of Rochester and the surrounding valley. We work to elevate public awareness of the library and its services. We work on fundraising to help with expenses beyond the library’s budget. We serve as a resource to the Library through volunteer projects and events. Friends of the Library is a private non-profit 501(c)3 organization.
